Whew, What A Month!!!

I can't believe May is almost over already!  I'm not sure where the month went.  It has been a very busy time for us.  The month started off with a show at the Woodstock Market and Show event the first weekend.  Friday and Saturday were great.  The weather was nice.  And then along comes Sunday and the gale force winds (that were not predicted).  Thankfully after our debacle in December with the tent we ordered new weights -40 pounds on each leg.  I guess I got just a little too confident as the other vendors were chasing their tents across the parking lot because it wasn't long before I was chasing one of my racks-the one on wheels- as it went rolling across the parking lot.  Everyone ended up closing early, which was sad but very necessary.

We have been very busy completing orders for Mother's Day, end of year gifts for teachers and room mothers and everything in between.  Although we did manage to squeeze in a week of vacation.  We took a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on the Oasis of the Seas.  Cruises are our favorite way to vacation and we have taken several of them, but let me tell you nothing compares to the ship.  We had a blast and it was a very much needed time to rest and re-energize.  I will just let the pictures speak for themselves.

The Aqua Theater
Johnny Rockets
Central Park
The Cupcake Shoppe.  Isn't it cute?

The zip line.  Yes, I did it!!  It was so much fun.

They were right beside us as we left Ft. Lauderdale.  We were on the top deck.

Our escort as we came into St. Thomas.

Sunset as we left St. Thomas.

As soon as we returned home it was on to Queen B's first dance recital and her Preschool Choir presentation of Hallelujah Hop.  She did so well and we were all so proud.  As you can tell little sister Princess K did not want to be left out.

Does anyone else see a theme with these two pictures?  I'm just sayin'...

It's been a fun month.  Can't wait to see what June has in store.

The Mad Hatter Tea Party

Last Saturday Queen B and her mom attended the Mad Hatter Tea Party .  This is an event that is put on by the American Business Women's Association in a neighboring county.  They attended with Queen B's best friend ever and her mom.  As you can tell by the pictures they had a wonderful time playing pink flamingo croquet, listening to the storyteller, hunting Easter eggs and meeting all the characters.

What a terrific way to spend a beautiful spring day.

Spring Show Season Has Begun

The spring show season officially begins this weekend for me.  I can't wait.  I kind of miss being the "shop girl" for a weekend. Not only that but this is one of my favorite shows I do.    The weather in the Atlanta area is supposed to be beautiful and spring like this weekend so come on by and say hi.  Here is where I will be.

The Woodstock Market & Show.

Just minutes off Hwy 75 & 575, Woodstock Market & Show is located in the old Walmart shopping center on the corner of Hwy 92 and Canton Road. With ample room and parking this young Antique Show could become a "must visit" for decorators, collectors and Antique lover's alike.

About the Show

The Market is described as a gathering place where people can share and sell those things they've come to love themselves. The plan is to bring back the feel of an "Old World Outdoor Street Market." The Market will feature an eclectic mix of goods ranging from:

1. Plants and Flowers to Fresh Produce

2. Antiques to Vintage

3. Architectural Salvage to Metal Art

4. Unique to One-of-a-kind

There will definitely be something for everyone!

You DON'T want to miss it!
